Valerie Adams is one of new zealands top shot putter. This year she is competing in the commonwealth games in scotland, I hope that she wins and that she brings the gold medal back home.
What a great start Liku! I'm Arizona, I will be helping out in class for the rest of the year. It's really cool to read what you have posted about Valerie! I'm sure there is more that you can share with us though? How many medals has she won? Is she Tongan? There was a special job that she had for the Commonwealth Games this year that involved her and carrying the New Zealand flag at the opening ceremony... Do you know what that was?
