Jab The Mascot.
This is Jab. Jab got his name from the boxing move. He is the mascot of the Glasgow Commonwealth games. Jab is wearing blue and white. This represents the colours on the Scottish flag. His skin is green because his older brother is the loch ness monster. He is dressed in a boxing uniform because he likes boxing but he is pretty average at it. Instead, he supports other athletes to do well. Jab also has the important job of hyping up the crowd.

I love jab and your explanation about his colourings in particular the Loch Ness Monster (Did you know about him already?). What would your mascot look like or be based on if he was one for a Commonwealth Games in NZ?

My name is Elizabeth and I am a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, United States. At my school we have two mascots similar to Jab. Their names are SouthPaw and Ms Pawla and they are jaguars. Like Jab, they hype up crowds at athletic events. I had no idea that Jab is related to the Loch Ness Monster, but that definitely explains the green skin. I enjoyed reading your post about Jab and especially liked your picture of him. Great Job!
